You'd think that as a celebrity constantly in the public eye, you'd put some effort into at least keeping yourself clean and presentable. These stars don't agree! From phobias of brushing teeth to a general aversion to soap, water or deodorant, you might want to keep these seven Hollywood celebs out of smelling distance.
You can tell just by looking at this "Twilight" star that he doesn't exactly smell of roses. RPattz has willingly admitted to his poor personal hygiene in the past, stating that he often doesn't have the time to wash or change clothes among his hectic schedule.
He once told a UK tabloid that he only changes sometimes "because it gets to the point where even I can't stand the air around me."
Not letting this vampire near our necks anytime soon!
With all of his multi-million dollar movies and publicity events, its understandable that Depp may not have the time to make hygiene his first priority. Several different sources have stated that the A-list actor isn't the biggest fan of showering and can go days without it.
No wonder he fit the role of unwashed pirate so perfectly.
While this fresh-faced singer and entrepreneur usually has gleaming blonde locks and a glowing complexion, she doesn't fare so well in the dental department. While on the Ellen show, she admitted that while she uses mouthwash and floss daily, she doesn't brush her teeth more than three times a week.
She says " I don't like them to feel too slippery...I'll use a shirt or something. I know it's gross but I always have fresh breath."
At least Jess can admit to her bad habit.
It's hard to look at rom-com heartthrob Matthew McConaughey the same way after learning that he hasn't worn deodorant in years. He admitted to People magazine that he doesn't "like to smell like someone or something else".
Apparently, if his stench gets too overwhelming, he'll just take a shower.
We can't imagine what Matthew smells like after one his workouts.
Megan Fox is very public about her poor habits in the cleanliness department. In an interview with FHM talking about her label as a sex symbol, the actress tried to curb the hype by saying, "I'm horrible to live with. I don't clean. My clothes end up wherever I take them off. I forget to flush the toilet. Friends will tell me, 'Megan, you totally pinched a loaf in my toilet and didn't flush.'"
Too much information, Megan!
Not so sure she's looking like the sexiest woman in the world anymore, but at least she's honest.
Dealing with six children is no easy task while also filming blockbusters around the world, and apparently that means that superstar actor Brad Pitt doesn't often have time to shower. Reportedly, his smell got so overpowering on the "Inglourious Basterds" set that his co-star Eli Roth taught him how to 'quick shower' — rubbing the armpits with baby wipes.
We're sure it helps with body odor, but we hope that Brad Pitt occasionally uses some soap.
The pint-size "Jersey Shore" star told Conan in an interview that she doesn't like to spend a lot of money on beauty or skin products. After some extensive internet searching, she found her solution: cat litter as an effective exfoliator.
The benefits of her reduced-cost facial? She told Conan, "I haven't broken out at all yet."
Hopefully she buys the scent-free kind, or going in for a hug with this reality star could be an unpleasant experience.
We're not sure we can look at these celebs the same way after hearing about their terrible hygiene habits. It may be hard to fit in a good scrubbing in between film projects and recordings, but these celebs apparently just don't like feeling clean!
