Weirdest Celebrity Endorsements

Sometimes we see a celebrity somewhere unexpected, a fast food restaurant, or a commercial flight. Other times we see them on tv, in a terrible commercial. Here is our list of weirdest celebrity endorsements in the past few years.

Bob Dylan and Victoria's Secret

Bob Dylan and Victoria's Secret

In 2004 Bob Dylan was featured in a commercial with Adriana Lima. It involved a few shots of Bob Dylan looking impassive and Adriana Lima looking sultry, they never appeared in the same shot. It is one of the biggest mismatches for an endorsement that we have ever seen. Bob Dylan in his early 60's should have nothing to do with a youthful brand like Victoria's Secret. Victoria's Secret asked though, and he said yes.

OJ Simpson and Hertz

OJ Simpson and Hertz

OJ Simpson used to be famous for something other than being proven innocent for a murder and then writing a book about how he did it. He used to be an all-pro NFL running back. Back in these days he also had an endorsement deal with Hertz. Hertz terminated the relationship when there were rumors about domestic abuse.

Hulk Hogan's Grill

Hulk Hogan's Grill

Hulk Hogan's Ultimate Grill is endorsed by Hulk Hogan himself. As Hogan was a wrestler we assume the connection has something to do with protein? Unfortunately these grills were recalled because using cooking oils or sprays could cause the machine to catch fire. This was decidedly a bad feature for a grill so their popularity never really took off.

Snooki's Slippers

Snooki's Slippers

Jersey Shore star Snooki has a line of slippers based off of ones she is known for wearing on the show. We couldn't think of who would be into buying these unless they were a joke gift or for someone you dislike. She teamed up with Happy Feet to design oversized sneaker slippers in leopard print and pink.

Olsen Twins and Aquafresh

Mary Kate and Ashley endorsed BubbleCool Aquafresh toothpaste in their younger years. The tubes featured the twins faces and were marketed toward children. They were young, they didn't know what they were doing, we can write this bad marketing decision off as inexperience.

Although these endorsements may have been a mistake, there are some things you just can't unsee. We won't be able to forget about these weird endorsement pairings, although the celebrities probably wish they could!
